This time the event will be at the beautiful new City Playhouse theatre in Thornhill, Ontario - just north of Toronto. Roqe Live 4 will feature a stellar lineup of guests joining host Jian Ghomeshi, including the actress and activist Shohreh Aghdashloo, who we will honour with the prestigious Roqe Media Icon Award. Also joining us will be renowned Television anchor and star, Fardad Farahzad, popular fusion band Dang Show (on the release day of their new album!), and British-Iranian singer and songwriter, Siamak Mehr. This artistic odyssey is rooted in the romance of Khosrow and Shirin, blending historical depth with a contemporary twist.Don't miss this enchanting performance that promises to delight and inspire!The show is in Persian with English surtitile.Recommended age: 16 and olderLatecomers will be allowed in up to 10 minutes into the show. نمايش"از هوسنامه تا وفانامه" يك اتفاق مهم و نو در زمينه ادبيات داستانى و نمايشى ايران است. اين اولين بار در تاريخ ايران است كه منظومه ٦٥٠٠ بيتى "خسرو و شيرين" در يك اجراى وفادار به متن، بصورت كامل و بدون حذف يا سانسور به سبك كمدى رمانتيك مدرن با يك بازيگر به روى صحنه ميرود بنفشه طاهريان (نويسنده و بازيگر) در سال ٢٠٢٠ پادكست "چاى با بنفشه" را با اين هدف كه داستانهاى كهن ايرانى را از زبان شعر به زبان ساده روزمره تعريف كند راه اندازى كرد. او در فصل اول پادكست داستان "خسرو و شيرين" نظامى را با جزییات، بدون سانسور و با اضافه كردن چاشنى طنز و معادل سازى وقايع با اتفاقات دنياى مدرن، به زبان ساده نوشته و تعریف كرد این اجرا برای اولین بار در جشنواره تیرگان ۲۰۲۳ به روی صحنه رفت که تمامی بلیط هایش در کمتر از یک هفته پیش فروش و با استقبال بسیار خوب تماشاگران روبرو شد مدت زمان اجرا ۹۰ دقیقه و بدون تنفس است افرادی که دیر برسند حداکثر تا ۱۰ دقیقه بعد از شروع نمایش اجازه ورود خواهند داشت این نمایش برای افراد زیر ۱۶ سال توصیه نمی شود
